Biography

Dr. Jia is professor and chief physician of Department of Endocrinology & Metabolism of the Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS).

She serves as director of the Shanghai Diabetes Institute, director of the National office for primary diabetes care, and director of the Institute for Proactive Healthcare of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
